The Distinguished Alumnus Award was established on the occasion of Aarhus University’s 80th anniversary in 2008 with a view to strengthening the relations to the alumni. Aarhus University is proud of all its alumni, but we especially want to show our recognition for graduates who have achieved a unique profile and career.
The distinguished alumnus of the year is appointed at the university’s annual celebration, and so far the following alumni have been appointed:
