International students flocking to Aarhus University

Aarhus University is now making greater efforts to get more halls of residence built in Århus. This follows a report in the newspaper “Jyllands-Posten” on the conditions facing Danish and international students living at Hejredalskollegiet in Brabrand, where burglaries, threats, vandalism and drug dealing are all commonplace.

“We’re ashamed that we can’t offer better conditions to our international students. But this case underlines the urgent need for more suitable halls of residence in the city,” says Kristian Thorn, the International Director of Aarhus University.
