At Aarhus University’s annual celebration this year Nils Smedegaard Andersen, the CEO of A.P. Møller-Mærsk and former CEO of Carlsberg, was presented with the honorary alumnus award.

The alumnus award is presented each year to a graduate of Aarhus University who has made a unique contribution to the development of Danish society, someone who is a symbol of the importance of the university.
