The university has a special unit that helps to set up collaboration between researchers and companies.

“I look at aspects such as how an invention can be applied and how ground-breaking it is. If there’s a positive assessment, we go one step further and support the project, for example by providing the funds to carry out further tests. Our most important function is to get the invention to the stage where it’s ready to be used in a company,” explains Lars Skytte, who works in the Technology Transfer Office.
