Skjoldhøj still waiting to be renovated

The Skjoldhøj hall of residence in Aarhus – home to many students from abroad – has been waiting in vain for four years for a reply from the Aarhus City Council regarding an application for funds to renovate the crumbling concrete.
Per Juulsen, Director of Student Housing, is tired of waiting for a reply. Student Housing is responsible for the administration of the Skjoldhøj hall of residence.
“The status right now is that the hall of residence is gradually getting more run down than is acceptable. We’ve therefore started repairing parts where we actually applied for funds for total renovation. But we can’t wait any longer,” he says.
