Aarhus University moves up the ranking list
Aarhus University has moved 12 places up the Shanghai ranking list of the best universities in the world, and is now number 86 in the list (number 28 in Europe). This is one of the best improvements of any of the other universities in the list this year.
The promotion is due to the fact that in recent years researchers at Aarhus University have published more articles in academic journals, and to the fact that Dale T. Mortensen from the School of Economics and Management was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2010.
