New statistics published by the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education show that a total of 5,569 students from other Nordic countries were studying a degree programme in Denmark in the 2010/2011 academic year. Only 604 Danes were studying in another Nordic country during the same period. The statistics also show that four out of ten students from other Nordic countries are still in Denmark one year after graduating.
