Focus on communication in a crisis

On Friday 26 October Aarhus University received a letter containing a bomb threat at Fuglesangs Allé.

The police checked the area without finding anything suspicious, and the bomb alert was called off. Aarhus University has subsequently taken part in a debriefing with the police. A working party will now be focusing on a new contingency plan focusing on communication in a crisis, including ways of improving the internal lines of communication.
“One of the things we’re checking is the procedures governing who to contact in various situations,” reports Branding Manager Svend Aage Mogensen, who is one of the members of the working party.
