Whenever you move to another country you always have to fill in some paperwork and find answers to a great number of practical questions. Anne Langer, the international coordinator at Aarhus University, helps international researchers to find their feet in Denmark.
Before I came to Denmark, I thought of Danes as being laid-back. And indeed they are – as long as you don’t break any rules.
On Friday 5 August there was a jazz concert in Dale’s Café featuring the band “The Funky Butts”. And the concert was a great success, says international coordinator Anne Langer.
Aarhus University has moved 12 places up the Shanghai ranking list of the best universities in the world, and is now number 86 in the list (number 28 in Europe). This is one of the best improvements of any of the other universities in the list this year.
The University International Club invites all international staff and their spouses to a new programme of events.
Preparations are well underway for a huge day of sports and partying in the University Park on Friday 9 September.
